Track By Tracks: SPITE - Self-Titled (2015)

1. The Black:
"The Black" refers to the intro of "Misery." I went through a dark time a while back where I struggled heavily with abusing alcohol. "The Black" is supposed to create that feel of being on the verge of blacking out while in a horrible state of mind, telling yourself to wake up.
2. Morning Sting:
This song is about the next day waking up in the morning, feeling just as terrible as you did before. And endless cycle of self hatred and animosity for your surroundings. Feeling hopeless. Having nothing to live for.
3. Leeches:
"Leeches" is about two people, a couple, that caused a whole lot gray hairs for Stephen and I. These are people that we went above and beyond for. They treated us with disrespect, took a lot from us (including financially), and turned their backs on us completely. We wish the worst for them. They are cowards. They are fucking leeches.
4. Death Sentence:
This song is about a scumbag who decided to cause a whole bunch of fuckery in a relationship I was in. He sucks. Rot in filth.
5. Snap:
"Snap" is about being violently mentally unstable. Constantly struggling with the thought of killing yourself or killing every one around you.
6. Intruder:
This interlude is the beginning to "Night Terrors." You're walking through what normally is the comfort of your home but are haunted by unfamiliar shadows. You aren't home, you've walked into hell. Welcome.
7. Night Terrors:
In the middle of the night a woman walks in on her love uninvited. She finds him out to be a serial killer in mid dissection of a live man. Body parts and bloody tools cover the room. Their whole relationship she never would have known her lover to have this side to him.
8. Digging Pt. 1
You are tormented your whole life by others. You feel absolutely hopeless to the point where you commit suicide. "Digging Pt. 1" is about the process of killing yourself, cutting, "digging," deeper and deeper into your arms until you bleed out.
9. Digging Pt. 2:
"Digging Pt. 2" is about coming back from the dead as the reaper and taking the souls of the ones that pushed you to the point of taking your own life and making them suffer like they did to you.
10. Outsiders:
Who likes close-minded people?
11. Free for All:
The end of the world. No morals. No family. No friends. Survival of the fittest.
