Track By Tracks: This Fall – What’s Left Inside (2015)

1.What’s left inside:
Nothing to do with judgement. No moral rule to teach, no salvation to preach. It’s about hearing a story, many stories, feeling and living them, looking for the words and the sounds to tell them, asking ourselves “what’s left inside?”
2.Yel:
Yel is the name native Americans gave to the Phoenix, the bird that gains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. So was This Fall birth. We burned the stones we were; we needed to born again, to discover new sounds and words.
3.Moysa:
This was the first song we wrote. Music, muse: inspiration, something/someone we breath and we love, our way to share feelings, dreams and fears, a chance to get in touch with the world. ‘cause when we’ve got the music, we’ve got a place to go.
4.Wake me up, tomorrow:
“How strange are stars tonight”, says the child looking at the sky. Bombs? Are the same that make dad cry? “Mom is here, with me. She sleeps”. Because war is painful, unreasonable; the voice of the voiceless, the name of the nameless, so innocent they can be. “Why am I so cold?” Nevertheless “wake me up, tomorrow”.
5.Daughter in lie (#66):
Here is the story of Victoria. She reached this world and a few days later mum and dad were killed by the same people who gave her a new life, a new identity, new answers to questions about good and evil. Until the awareness: it was all a big lie. “How could they do this to me? Will I never absolve them? It’s not about forgiveness. Here is the story of Victoria; so many, like her.
