News: The Dillinger Escape Plan Release 'Dissociation' Today!

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN is ready to release what could well be their final full-length album.  DISSOCIATION, out today - October 14, 2016 - is a product of the recent collaboration of the band’s Party Smasher Inc. label with Cooking Vinyl America and is their most adventurous to date.

"Dissociation is at once is a whirlwind of chaos and a pit of darkness and thought. Crafted with frenzy and care, this is a true work of art in all its instrumentation and vocalization... The balance in dipping
and plunging into so many sounds of math  rock, metal, electronic, and classical music pays off
in becoming a work that proves that there is a peace in chaos.” 9/10 POPMATTERS
Only an asshole could find fault with this record; there's no value in nitpicking an achievement
this consummately professional, laboriously crafted and creatively uninhibited. If this truly is the end
for Dillinger Escape Plan, they've ended things by throwing down the gauntlet with such force
that the reverberations will be felt for generations.”EXCLAIM
“Dissociation is a fitting epitaph for one of the most groundbreaking
metal bands of the past two decades.” - DECIBEL

The group – vocalist Greg Puciato, guitarist (and original member) Ben Weinman, bassist Liam Wilson, drummer Billy Rymer and guitarist Kevin Antreassian – have headed out on tour in the North America and will be out on the road until mid-November in support of the critically acclaimed opus.
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN has been a juggernaut since their inception in 1997 making an indelible mark on the world of rock The band has put out five studio albums, rocked Late Night TV and have been winners of The Revolver Golden Gods’ Best Underground Band, Kerrang!’s Inspiration Award and Spirit of Independence Award as well as a VH1 Most Influential Guitarist award.  Their sound is unlike that of any other band, but that has been the inspiration for many that have followed. The New York Times described it best when they said, “If you really want to know these songs — metal through the jazz-rock filter of Allan Holdsworth and Mahavishnu Orchestra — you have to listen repeatedly and concentrate. Increasingly it’s a composer’s music…a haywire, acrobatic combustion that occurs in almost every song.”
