News: SLEEP ON IT PREMIERES "SEE YOU AROUND"

Chicago, IL’s Sleep On It is premiering a new song and music video for "See You Around" today at AltPress.com. The catchy track comes from their new EP, Lost Along the Way, which will be released on October 21 via Equal Vision Records.

"The song "See You Around" is about an on again/off again relationship, so we knew there would have to be some kind of love interest but we didn't want to just do the stereotypical lovey music video," shares vocalist Zech Pluister. "It just seems to us that most bands have been either making very vague videos where you don't know what's happening, or they're incredibly serious. Both of these are fine, but we grew up watching blink-182, Fall Out Boy, and All Time Low videos, and they were all hilarious. So we just decided not to take ourselves too seriously and have some fun. We took what ideas we had, put a little twist on it, put Luka in a hot dog costume and boom! We made a video."

The pop punk outfit also recently released a music video for "Unspoken" as well as a behind the scenes look at the video, both of which can be foundHERE. The EP was recorded with producers Seth Henderson (Real Friends, Knuckle Puck) and Derek DiScanio of State Champs. Pre-orders for the EP are available now at sleeponit.merchnow.com.

Sleep On It is comprised of Zech Pluister (vocals), TJ Horansky (guitar/vocals), Jake Marquis (guitar/vocals), AJ Khah (bass) and Luka Fischman (drums). The band formed in Chicago, IL in 2012 but unveiled a new lineup this past Spring with the debut of "Burning at Both Ends", which introduced Pluister as Sleep On It's new frontman.

To date, the band has shared stages with the likes of Knuckle Puck, Hit The Lights, and Transit, and performed at the 2015 Vans Warped Tour Chicago date as well as at Riot Fest Denver in 2015 and Riot Fest Chicago in 2015 and 2016. Sleep On It will next head out on a short run of dates with Cute Is What We Aim For, followed by a Midwest tour with Set Your Goals andWATERMEDOWN. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
"Over the course of the last year we have all experienced a lot of loss in different ways," notes Pluister. "Friendships fading, relationships ending, loss of family members. All of the songs on this release have something to do with wanting to be remembered, missing someone, and questioning the losses we've all been through in some way or another."
