Interviews: Xander & The Keys

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Rock band Xander & The Keys, from UK. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

The name came from a shorter version of the bands original name XANDER ALLEN & THE KEYS, which came from Xander Allen being the front man's name, a play on words - Allen Key's - the band is the key part to any band the rest is history..... 

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

We didnt it chose us.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Luke the bands Manager and Xander met at a record label years back and Luke liked what Xander was doing on the solo scene and decided to hold auditions to put together a band, The line up has changed over the years but its the strongest its ever been.

4. Each band member favorite band? 

Xander Allen (Lead singer) - Kings of Leon

Richard Barker(Drummer) - stereophonics

James Morel (Bass) - Jamiroquai

Dan Edwards(Lead Guitar)  - To many to mention.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Everything from break ups to everyday life.

6. Where was your last gig? 

Smokin Ace's Bournemouth 

7. Where would you like to play?

A well know festival or UK arena.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

 

Richard - "Feature with Taylor Swift please"

9. Whom not? 

"We're up for working with anyone! but maybe not Honey G...."

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

 

"A few times on bigger stages, just don't drink too much before hand haha"

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Kings of Leon!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
