Interviews: Negative Sky

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metalcore  band Negative Sky, from USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Why did you want to play this genre? 

The heavy riffs, the adrenaline, the challenge, the energy.

2. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes everyone knew each other from previous bands and from around the local NJ scene. 

 

3. Each band members favourite band? 

Well for me, I would say if I had to pick one, it would be Black Sabbath.

4. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Getting in a room with these guys and jamming inspires me. So many great ideas start flying out from just jamming together.

5. Where was your last gig? 

We have been playing a lot lately, and we will be playing even more in the near future with our new LP "Placid Black" coming out soon. 

6. Where would you like to act? 

I would love to get to Europe myself, but basically, anywhere that would be into our music is where i wanna go! 

7. Whom would you like to feature with? 

So many great bands to play with. Unfortunately this is not an easy answer so i will stick with everyone!

8. Whom not?

Drake because I just don't think the crowd is metal enough haha!

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

I think I have always had that nervousness in my stomach for most shows I play especially if it is a big one. I also believe that if I didn't have that feeling I wouldn't want to play on stage. That is the feeling that drives me to play live. As far as the tip for beginners, I would say use that fright as a tool to fuel your stage personality. Try not to think too hard, feel it. Or there is always whiskey if that doesn't work. 

 

10 .What bands have inspired you the most?

Pantera, Meshuggah, Metallica, and Black Sabbath to name a few, but there are way too many to list.
