Interviews: Go! Carolina

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Pop Punk band Go! Carolina, from Mexico. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

It come just like that, we were looking for the name of a girl, and the drummer’s sister is called Carolina, so, we only decided tu add the “Go!” 

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We have a lot of influences like Blink 182, Yellow Card, Neck Deep, Real Friends, and mexican bands like DON, Say Ocean, Allison, 10 veces yo, and many others, and all these bands play Pop Punk, so we decided to play this genre 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

No, each member played their instrument in their own houses, and thanks to other friends and coincidences we met us 

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Javi (guitar player/vocals): Blink 182 

César (drummer): Silverstein 

Roberto (bass player): Real Friends 

Hugo (vocals): Insite 

Carlos (guitar player): A day to remember 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

A lot of things, but most of them talk about friends, positivism, love, our daily life, our family, our problems, school, our relationships etc… 

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was in an event called “Emotional Happy Punk Rock Fest” in Mexico city, with recognized bands like Finde, Tolidos, DON, Snite and Zebra Circus 

7. Where would you like to act?  

One of our main dreams was to play in a place called Multiforo Alicia, fortunately a year ago we had the honor to be there, and it was excellent. Now a days we want to reach bigger festivals in our country and then  We would love to play on a Warped Tour. 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

We would love to play on stage with Blink 182 

9. Whom not?  

We dont know, maybe Pitbull or someone like this. 

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Yes, it is something normal, and for the beginners we only could say that breath deep and enjoy the stage. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Blink 182, Green Day, New Found Glory, A day to remember, Simple plan, yellowcard, Fall Out Boy, Real Friends, Allison, División Minúscula, Delux. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nothing weird has happened with our fans. 

13. What do you think of your fans?  

They are certainly the best, they are always there to support us, we love them 

14. What do you think of our site?  

It is a good proposal to support young talent, and discover new bands, we need many sites like this

Sure, we are very grateful to think of us, we would like to return the favor someday and collaborate in new projects together
