» » News: RIVER OAKS (SHANE TOLD OF SILVERSTEIN’S SOLO PROJECT) ANNOUNCES NEW TOUR DATES WITH JT WOODRUFF (HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS) & HEAVY THINGS

Silverstein frontman Shane Told is taking his solo project RIVER OAKS on the road again for a series of shows with JT Woodruff (Hawthorne Heights) and Heavy Things.
The tour is in support of RIVER OAKS' debut self-titled 7”, which came last year on Rise Records.
Told says, "I'm so excited to come back for a few really special shows in some of my favourite cities in the entire world! Expect a long set including River Oaks songs, a few covers and a lot of acoustic versions of Silverstein songs. I'm also super stoked to be joined by my very dear friend JT Woodruff of Hawthorne Heights and also the fantastic Heavy Things. Tickets are only $12, so go get them now! Can't wait to see you all there.”
After spending 15 years, 2000 shows performed, and over a million albums sold with Silverstein, Told launched RIVER OAKS last year. “Silverstein is, was and will always be my first love” Told explains. “But now I feel determined to do something all on my own. RIVER OAKS is 100% my own work and ideas, and as scary as it is to go it alone, it’s exciting and empowering to put my all into these songs and really put myself out there.”
