Interviews: See You Inside

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band See You Inside, from Italy. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

“See You Inside” was an idea of our guitarist Mirko. We choose this name among many others just because we thought it was the best name for a metalcore band.

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

When we started to play together we didn’t play metalcore music. We used to play alternative metal, but when we changed line-up we decided to move into this genre because it is what we want to sound like right now. Everybody here in this band loves metalcore, much more than anything else.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

No. We knew each other with the band, except for our guitarist Mirko and our Bassist Alberto who are brothers.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Talking about our genre we all love bands such as Architects, The Ghost Inside, Parkway Drive, Attila, While She Sleeps, the “old” Bring Me The Horizon… But we have also different tastes, for example we move from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Blink 182 to Papa Roach or Linkin Park

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

We are inspired from what happens in the world today and we talk about all the problems and dangers that afflict society today with a veil of pessimist and a fear of our self-annihilation. Our first EP, that comes out this summer, is a sort of “concept” about the end of everything. So we are inspired from all the bad news we read and we listen to everyday and we try to transform them into a positive energy. Our aggressiveness and our wall of sound acts as an exorcism to not fall into desperation and to stay up high.

6. Where was your last gig? 

We usually play in the clubs around our hometown, that is near Milan.

7. Where would you like to act? 

Our biggest dream is to take part of the amazing Warped Tour in USA, but we settle for playing in the biggest club here in Italy.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

I think we’d like to feature with our favorite bands or their singers or other members. If I have to choose one of them I’d say Sam Carter of Architects, his voice blows my mind.

9. Whom not? 

We haven’t a black list… for the moment.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

I don’t think we suffer from stage fright, at least not in an excessive way. We just drink a lot of Monster Energy before getting on the stage and everything seems easier

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

We heve been inspired by our favourite bands. I think of top 3 is: Architects, The Ghost Inside and Parkway Drive. We move from the "old" metalcore to the newest wave with a bunch of ambient sounds.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We have a normal fan base that grows up show after show but we haven’t receive any strange requests for the moment. But, who knows…

13. What do you think of your fans? 

I think they are the fuel that carry us on. We just do this for us and for them. So they are the most important think which our band is based on.

14. What do you think of our site? 

You are simply amazing because you give the right chance for every brand new bands to get visibility, and it’s all for free.
