News: ALL HELL: Decibel Premieres "I Am The Mist" From Blackened Thrash Trio; The Grave Alchemist Release Day Draws Near

As The Grave Alchemist, the impending new full-length from North Carolina-based blackened thrash trio, ALL HELL, draws closer to release, today Decibel Magazine is pleased to unsheathe the band's lyric video for grim album closer, "I Am The Mist."

"On 'I Am The Mist,' ALL HELL blasts out searing riffs and throat-shredding vocals as they slowly approach the release of The Grave Alchemist, their third full-length."

Elaborates vocalist/guitarist Jacob Curwen: "The closing track of The Grave Alchemist, 'I Am The Mist' is inspired by the dread inherent in the power of nature and within our own personal histories. Conceptually, it represents the ascension of the Alchemist and his integration with nature and the collective unconscious. We felt it fitting to end the album in a way that closed the events of the narrative while simultaneously widening the scope and relevance of the album's central theme."

A twelve-track, narrative-driven, horror concept album that weaves a tale of alchemy, necromancy, and vampirism over the span of three centuries, The Grave Alchemist is a potent blend of violence, mysticism, psychology, and the occult, distilled into an aural elixir of Blood and Gold.

The Grave Alchemist - which was captured by Kris Hilbert (The Body) and mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust) - will see worldwide release via Prosthetic Records April 14th on CD, LP, and digital formats. For preorders, visit THIS LOCATION.

ALL HELL will bring their odes of odium to the stage for a short run of live dates this Spring with additional live incursions in the plotting stages.

Spawned in the dark hills of Asheville, North Carolina in 2013 and influenced by a wide array of genres from punk to thrash to "first wave" black metal to '80s deathrock and beyond, ALL HELL has relentlessly churned out their stygian works while spreading their volatile live show to eager audiences.

ALL HELL self-released their debut, The Devil's Work, in 2014 and played with bands such as 1349, Black Tusk, Ghoul, and labelmates, Skeletonwitch. A year later, ALL HELL released their second offering, The Red Sect, which was released through HPGD Productions. Prosthetic Records soon signed the band and reissued the album on LP and CD worldwide. ALL HELL hit the road in support of that album, sharing the stage with the likes of Venom Inc., Toxic Holocaust, Lord Dying, Ramming Speed, Horrendous, and many more.

With the release of The Grave AlchemistALL HELL has expanded their sound while infusing different elements to create a unique blend all their own. Fans of Bathory, Celtic Frost, Samhain, Satyricon, Skeletonwitch, Goatwhore, Toxic Holocaust and the like, pay heed.

"...meaner than a famished wolf pack who've just caught the scent of prey." -- No Clean Singing

"...their music is everything great about the first and second wave of black metal with a strong nod to old-school thrash. The anger and speed of Venom, Celtic Frost, and Bathory, the staccato and arpeggiated whiplash of early Emperor and Cradle Of Filth, and a classic black metal scream to top it all off. Though these styles are not new, by combining them the way they have, this allows ALL HELL to claim a sound that is their own." - Echoing Magazine
