News: Elasea release new video

Much revered UK alt-rockers Elasea are quickly making new friends and turning heads. The band unleash a sound that boasts hammering riffs, clever phrasing, and webbed vocal lines. Pulling from Lower Than Atlantis, You Me At Six, and Bring Me The Horizon, Elasea are prime to make their mark with the release of their forthcoming EP, Lesson Learnt, out Friday 17 th March, and with their new video single ‘Breathe / Lesson Learnt’:

Coming at you from Berkshire, and featuring Andy Bradford (Rhythm Guitar and Vocals), Liv Jones (Bass and Vocals), Calum Radmore (Lead Guitar), Ashley Haskell (Drums), and Braydie Haskell (Keys, Synth and Samples), Elasea tug from a range of inspiration and have soaked up their predecessors’ influences before adding their own striking imprint. In doing so, they now despatch an engrossing sound that is both potent and engulfing.

Ever since their formation, Elasea have always been an industrious unit. In 2015, the alternative rockers delivered their debut EP, Where I Belong, to much acclaim, from the likes of Already Heard, Alt Corner, Toxic and Punktastic, as well as earning support from Rock Sound Magazine. After this debut release, the band reshaped their line-up and added keyboard and synths to an already potent sound. Support shows with Funeral For A Friend, AllUsOnDrugs, Veridian, and Echoic soon followed, helping to further refine the band’s own live performances, as well as allowing them to cultivate a growing fan-base.

Now the quintet are braced to strike out on their own. The high-flying rock-smiths release their sophomore EP Lesson Learnt this month, and it greatly surpasses expectations. Before this, the band have just released their new video single for Breathe / Lesson Learnt, and it’s a spectacular piece of cutting rock that soars and ideally accompanies Andy Bradford’s emotive voice. The track also highlights the five-some’s thoughtful texturing, with Liv Jones peppering the cut with her alluring vocals and Braydie Haskell’s adept use of synth.
