» » News: WEAR YOUR WOUNDS FEATURED ON THE COVER OF NEW NOISE MAGAZINE, STREAM UNRELEASED SONG

Highly regarded visual artist Jacob Bannon has collaborated with photographer Reid Haithcock to design the cover of New Noise Magazine issue #31 which features Bannon’s solo musical project, Wear Your Wounds.  Check out the cover art above and order a copy of the magazine here.

On this debut release, WYW (out April 7th on Deathwish), Bannon is joined by guest musicians Kurt Ballou (Converge), Mike McKenzie (The Red Chord, Stomach Earth, Unraveller), Chris Maggio (Sleigh Bells, Trap Them, Coliseum), and Sean Martin (Hatebreed, Cage, Kid Cudi, Twitching Tongues). Together they have created a powerful album that is unlike anything they have ever individually worked on. The album is comprised of ten emotionally heavy songs that call to the slower, more epic leanings of Converge, as well as Bannon’s previous work in Supermachiner.

Along with the album cover, Bannon has provided an unreleased song “Arthritic Heart” for New Noise Magazine’s flexi series.  The flexi will be included in issue #31 and you can listen to the track here.

More news soon.
