In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metalcore band Voids, from USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We wanted to build a name based around what we wanted to accomplish as a band. We want to fill the voids that people have as a positive outlet rather than a negative one.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It's the genre that all of us are passionate about and we believe it's also the best kind of music that we can express ourselves properly. Also the fan base is a more of a family than individuals and it makes playing this genre more fun for us.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We've all played shows together and after time we ended up coming together to form Voids.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Zack: Fit For A King
Theo: Wage War
Matt: Architects
Chad: Casino Madrid

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

What influences us to write aside from the passion for the music would also what we're going through because it's a way to express what's going on in our lives and turn something negative into something positive.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was at The Depot in York, PA.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would like to play anywhere that gives us the opportunity to express ourselves on stage but eventually would like to play all over the country and maybe the world someday.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Someday we would like to work with producer, Josh Schroeder.

9. Whom not?

We support all bands and would like to work with anyone who is will to play/record with us.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Zack: To beginners first and foremost never doubt yourself, you're at that gig for a reason and you're there to show your talents and capabilities.

Matt: I used to throw up before every show but the more you play out the more you get used to it.

Chad: I always used to focus strictly on my instrument and not pay attention to the crowd. Treating it the same as I would practicing, the more you focus on the crowd at first normally the more nervous you get.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Theo: The first band I ever got really into was Slipknot, mostly because of their performance/stage presence, and really pushed me to want to play on a stage.

Matt: AC/DC was the entire reason for me picking up a guitar.

Zack: Avenged Sevenfold was the reason I picked up drum sticks, just because they were one of those bands that started from nothing and they still make great music.

Chad: Casey Calvert from Hawthorne Heights was probably my biggest influence when it comes to screaming. The first time hearing his vocals just made me want to do what he did growing up

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We haven't really had anyone ask us any crazy things. We always keep things as fun as possible with our fans.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We're grateful for every single one of them and they constantly drive us to continue what we're doing.

14. What do you think of our site?

We think that the site is wonderful. Giving bands another outlet to express themselves outside of music, it's a great thing and we support it.

15. Something to add?

We would like to thank our fans for everything they have done for us. Our new album ‘No Character : No Crown’ drops October 13th, be sure to preorder it. Check out our music video for “Eris” and we hope to see you at one of our shows soon.
