Interviews: Shadow In Shade

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the Deathcore band Shadow In Shade, from Nepal. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Just a random name.Came up with something cool, something different than others used.  

2.Why did you want to play this genre?     

At first we didn't decide to do specific genre. We don't remember having another deathcore band in the "scene"at that time. So that's how we started to approach this sub-genre and  we stayed focus on what we were doing.  

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?      

We gather members with instruments they played. We barely knew each other. We jammed and did couple of shows. We became close after the band was formed.   

4. Each band member favourite band?      

Well ….that's silly question because I don't think you're expecting to have a LIST OF FAVOURITE BANDS from EACH OF US. There's not just "A FAVOURITE BAND'' ….there's  "FAVOURITE BANDSSSS!!!". Generally sub-genres emerging from DEATH METAL and HARDCORE/METALCORE from late 90's to present. Can't point out one band …they are all awesome!!!! haha   

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?      

Our inspiration of writing songs came from late 90's and early 20's deathcore bands. We listen too much songs. We also have some modern touches I guess ….   

6. Where was your last gig?      

It was Pre-Silence Festival held in October 7th, 2017 at Purplehaze Rock Bar with local line up w/ (NECK DEEP IN FILTH / SCREAMING MARIONETTE / SYNDROME / PSYNIDE / AAKROSH & KAMERO). The show was awesome ...insane crowds. It was promotional show for Silence Festival headlined by (12 FOOT NINJA – AUS) followed by (ENIGMATIK & VOICE OF RUIN – SWITZERLAND) and there's more (UNDERSIDE / BINAASH / KAAL / NUDE TERROR & CHILLAUM). .   

7. Where would you like to act?      

Well ….if somebody calls us up for tours, we'd be happy to wrap our stuffs and catch our flight. We will play anywhere across. We'd love to share and promote our music.   

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

With anyone who would love to make heavy music.there's no spesific Artist/Person tho.    

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?      

Feeling nervous has alway been a part of it.but as time goes on those feelings fade away. There's a different kind of energy that takes over you,each time you get on the stage and you will love it.  

10. What bands have inspired you the most?      

Individually different bands through out the time has inspired us. But as a band we are highly influenced by Chelsea Grin,Suicide Silence,Carnifex,TAIM etc.Mostly Deathcore bands.    

11. What do you think of your fans?      

We really appreciate anyone who supports us and our music.its kind of big deal to have people who loves our music and things we do.  

12. What do you think of our site?       

You guys are doing a great job here.made it easier to find new bands. Its a great site to help bands and artist to reach more people. We appreciate it.
