News: CLAYTORIDE 'Worth Leaving' EP, out now

Ascending Alternative Rock crew CLAYTORIDE have unveiled their stunning new EP, Worth Leaving, which is out now via Sliptrick Records / Red Eyes Dischi.

After spending seven years honing their skills and cutting their teeth in their homeland, Italian born but now Cardiff residents CLAYTORIDE, are a potent alt-rock band who unleash a fusion of engaging alternative rock cuts stocked with forceful razor-sharp hooks that render them an instantly catchy listen. Already racking up comparisons to Biffy Clyro, Placebo, and the Foo Fighters, CLAYTORIDE are set to climb further with the release of their new EP, Worth Leaving.

CLAYTORIDE are certainly no slackers when it comes to their output and touring. The industrious trio have played hundreds of shows throughout Italy and Central Europe, as well as forming a solid base in the UK. Since their inception, the alt-rockers have released an EP, 2012's Age Of Innocence, and two full albums, 2014's For His Wine & Chamber and 2015's Glass Vessels. The band have also unleashed a number of videos and singles to much acclaim.

The hard-working combo recently headed back into the studio to commence work on their current record, Worth Leaving, and the band have really pulled it out of the bag. The opener, Cradle, contorts its way around your senses, highlighting the trio's crafty penmanship, as it delivers a hooky refrain and layered guitars that cunningly web together the track. The infectious, Coltan, flaunts the band's groove, again revealing another anthemic chorus that can't help but cling to your head. The oft-kilter texturing of both 20 Seconds and Extincted showcase the group's leftfield approach and alternative edge which helps to lift the EP to another level. As the record presses on, Flat Screen takes influence from the band's post-grunge roots, showcasing the rock crew's growing maturity. The closer, Dare, is further proof that CLAYTORIDE have the tools and expertise to be one of the true players in 2018. Stay tuned to the band's pages for impending tour announcements and more.
