News: Rain's Abstract Vision now streaming

Venn Records has been at the forefront of modern punk, hardcore, emo and everything in between in the UK since its inception five years ago. As a label Venn has been there from the start with bands like Milk Teeth, Marmozets, HECK, Moose Blood and more recently Higher Power, Nervus and Youth Man. Venn's newest signing is a British shoe-gaze band from Swindon named RAIN.

Formed in late 2015, RAIN took no time in making a name for themselves. Their debut EP Symphony Pains (Close To Home Records) saw them receive love and attention from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Seattle's KEXP, Stereogum and Rolling Stone. At just three tracks long it hit hard enough to make an impression.

Having spent the past year and a half writing and recording a follow up record, RAIN are incredibly proud to be releasing Abstract Vision on November 24th via Venn Records. Abstract Vision is a five track EP that is a true culmination of their craft. It captures their ability to weave between 90s shoe-gaze, Creation Records and DIY grunge-pop so seamlessly. Tracks like Flowers Of Aurora have this wonderfully romantic feel throughout, whilst other tracks like Petrichor have this controlled chaos that ebbs and flows between distorted guitars and drum fills.

Have a wicked time with the record:
