Interviews: NBS

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metalcore band NBS, from Peru. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?     

We saw a tshirt with an abolitionist message about bullfights by the phrase "no bullshit", we kind of identified with the cause, since we try to have a positive impact on our fans.  

2.Why did you want to play this genre?     

We believe metal has strong energy to keep up on life and support ideals and express truth. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Not really, we met on different social networks, then we became friends, the only one that was with me all the time was my younger brother, he play drums in the band since he turned 15. 

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Ivan (vocals): Killswitch Engage 

Enzo (guitar): Architects  

Diego (drums): Architects 

Josh (Bass): August Burns red 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Spread a message of positiveness, perseverance and overcome hardships in life, we all have been down once, so whenever you feel fall out, my ultimate goal is that kids say , woo this music knows how I am feeling and its teelling never to surrender cuz life its too valuable to waste it. 

6. Where was your last gig? 

We had our first tour inside our country last week, at the northshores of provinces.  

7. Where would you like to act?  

At festivals supporting bands we like, such as the ones we mentioned as our favorite. 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

With the guys of Parkway drive, kind of hard but still trying. 

9. Whom not? 

Some Punk bands, we had the experience that they are not responsable and waste a lot of time.   

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

Not really we all have experience on the road, but yeah for sure new faces at different venues its always a thing. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Linkin Park and Slipknot, without them many bands od metalcore maybe wouldnt be around. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Once, a very wasted guy came across an told us he was a huge fan of our music, we gave him a tshirt so he could party hard, 2hours later he was fucked up on a bathroom and used our shirt to clean up his vomit, was funny though cuz he used it to wype his ass first, so ass to mouth. jaja 

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We seen them more as friends who listen to us, we like to think we can meet every single one of them. 

14. What do you think of our site? 

Its a really cool plataform for the amazing job of supporting new artist in the heavy an extreme music scene. Keep it up with the hardwork, its very special for us that the lyrics we wrote on a small room of a friends homestudio could had ended up in another country. That makes us very happy and appreciate sites like the one you run, because you believe in Us even in our early stage.
