News: The Second After (Durham, NC) Sign with Revival Recordings; New Video ("Homewreck Sick") Premieres on Substream; Debut EP "Treadmill at the Finish Line" Out April 6; #Revival52

Durham, NC pop punks The Second After have signed with Revival Recordings and are debuting a new music video for "Homewreck Sick" today on Substream Magazine.
The song appears on the band's upcoming label debut EP, "Treadmill at the Finish Line," out April 6.
The band says, "We'd like to present our new single, Home Wreck Sick! Writing this song was such a joy for us, as well as a pivotal point in the development of our sound, and we're so happy to finally be able to share it with you! We are so excited to be a part of the Revival family! It’s awesome to be working with a team of people from our home state, all focused on the same goal. The new music we have coming is an energetically, fun packed assortment of tunes people will be able to jump around to. 2018 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the group of people we have supporting and pushing us to the next level!”
The Second After has played shows with Four Year Strong, Seaway, Waterparks, Too Close to Touch, Grayscale, Have Mercy, Boston Manor, Like Pacific, Can't Swim, A Will Away & many more
On January 31 the band will be supporting Crown The Empire at The Blind Tiger in Greensboro, NC.
The Second After formed in September of 2015 and has gone on to release one EP "Hit & Run" in 2015, and three singles "Judy Can Judge Me All She Wants" in 2016, "Before I Lose (Acoustic)" and "All In, Or Nothing At All" in 2017. Emerging from a genre which has connected so profoundly with teens and young adults for many years, yet also often regarded as stale with repetitive, predictable melodies and generic lyrics to outsiders, The Second After brings a refreshing and unique sound to Pop Punk.
Their long-lived passion for playing music together, combined with their dynamically intertwined individual backgrounds in such genres as Pop, Punk, Hardcore, Acoustic, Rock, and Progressive Rock/Metal make for an enticing take on the Pop Punk/Easycore sound. With deeply intricate and hard-thought melodies and harmonies, combined with “bouncy” and exciting energetic riffs, this quintet is prepared to take their music scene by storm, and reignite a passion for a genre that has meant so much to so many.
