Interviews: INSEMINATE DEGENERACY

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the Brutal Death Metal band INSEMINATE DEGENERACY, from France. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

Geoffrey: The idea of the name took few weeks to be found. We wanted something on the same subject as the lyric which are about:  humanity getting extinct cause of its own stupidity,  it's not about politic but just about that shit that humans are doing, destroying nature most of all but also  the way humans is now thinking , like more we are going to technologies and more the mind of humans is getting low,sick, that is Degeneracy. But we are not to much serious about it neither, we love horror movie, sci-fi, video games, etc. So we made our own story which started in  a laboratory, where humans are making experience, and started to Inseminate a women to create new kind of humans, born from it's own Degeneracy. That'it.  

2. Why did you want to play this genre?  

Geoffrey: We wanted to play this genre cause we are just fan of brutal death metal , we listen to it  since a long time , and this is the way we enjoy playing music. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Geoffrey: The previous singer is my best friend , we know each other since a long time. And we met Felix (Drummer in 2017 , which was a magical meet. 

Félix: I didn't know anyone before meet.  

4. Each band member favourite band?

Félix: Visceral Disgorge, i get every time i listen a lot of inspiration from this band.  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Geoffrey: Song were wrote by the previous vocalist Sam , it was mosly all about the story he created in his mind , That was incredible, he is a really good writter  

6. Where was your last gig?

Geoffrey: Last show was at Alex's Tavern bar , playing with Atrocia in Rennes on december 16h 2017   

7. Where would you like to act?

Geoffrey: We'd love to go through all EUrope to Asia , and anywhere in the world.   Don't 

8. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Geoffrey: Every time , the day you don't have stage fright , maybe you don't love what you're doing anymore. Tips? If you love what you doin' just kick everything , with respect. 

Félix: Stress goes away with experience, you have nothing to prove to anyone, just have fun  

9. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Geoffrey: Hmm well i guess the big bands like Pathology , Visceral Disgorge , Defeated Sanity, and some others little awesome bands.  

10. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Geoffrey: Someone asked me too sing "Happy Birthday" on video cam for a sick friend of the guy that was suppose to die soon...  

11. What do you think of your fans? 

Geoffrey: Well we are just random guys. So we really appreciate any congrats that people can give to us It just warm our hearts so much.
