News: GRIDFAILURE: New Tracks Premiered Via Aversionline And The Wire Magazine's Radio Broadcast; Irritum Album Sees Release Next Week

New York experimental act GRIDFAILURE will release its latest audio scourge in the form of the Irritum full-length next week. Advancing its release, Aversionline is streaming the track "Internalizing" and "Irritum" is playing in The Wire Magazine's radio show.

GRIDFAILURE's dystopian/forecasted post-apocalyptic sound surges with rampant hostility and unnerving creepout auras, and Irritum delivers an inexorable sense of dread and paranoia with thirteen new tracks, totaling more than fifty minutes of lunatic rage. Void of any outside contributors many GRIDFAILURE recordings include, Irritum was solely performed, recorded, and produced by creator David Brenner, utilizing an arsenal of instruments including guitars, bass, drums, keys, theremin, harmonica, and more, and is being released as the project marks its two-year anniversary this month.

Long-running underground music webzine Aversionline has debuted Irritum's second track, "Internalizing," alongside a brief interrogation with GRIDFAILURE. The Wire Magazine also featured the title track "Irritum" in a recent installment of their weekly Adventures In Sound And Music hosted by Joseph Stannard on 104.4 FM and Resonance FM.

Irritum will see digital release via Bandcamp on February 23rd with a physical version to follow. Find "It Feeds On Negative Energy" with digital preorders and other GRIDFAILURE merch including the outfit's first shirt design HERE.

Just weeks after Irritum is released, GRIDFAILURE and regular collaborator MEGALOPHOBE will issue their second fully collaborative release with the unhinged madness of Tasukete, which is now in its final stages of production. Watch for info on that to be issued in the days ahead.

Additional GRIDFAILURE titles to see release in 2018 include collaborative releases with Walking Bombs, Fyrhtu, Pornohelmut, and others, as well as several more GRIDFAILURE full-length releases.
