Interviews: Blinding Sunrise

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Melodic Metalcore/Metalcore  band Blinding Sunrise from Italy. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We just wanted to give the idea of the contrast inside our music. We have melody and softness and sweetness of the female vocals but we have screams and power, growls and strong breakdowns too. 

So we are quite an oxymoron:  a sunrise can never be blinding, just like you'd never expect from a soft music to suddenly come up with screams, so here's to you: blinding sunrise!

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

It was the one we actually liked the most

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

3.Haha. It's a very complicated and intricated plot of friendships and mutual friendships.  Almost some kind of soap-opera. Ready?? So....

Basically Matteo( the guitarist) was Mattia's (scream, male vocals) classmate and Franny (female vocals) is Matteo's girlfriend. Franny brought in Ono (bassist) cause they were friends, while Valerio (drummer) was Mattia's friend. Luca was Matteo's friend. and boom! that's how we met eachother: the day we had decided to form the band.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Franny : Marylin Manson

Ono : Behemoth

Teo : Blink182

Mattia : Linkin Park

Luca : Thy Art Is Murder

Valerio : Periphery

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Well Franny writes the lyrics. What mainly inspires her are her emotions, feelings, mood of the moment or past memories. Random thoughts or fears, sometimes even nightmares.. Basically those common hopes and fears all humans have: everyone can find a bit of theirselves in our songs, everyone can say "yeah!! Hell!I actually do feel like this right now!"

6. Where was your last gig? 

Kiev, last year.

7. Where would you like to act? 

We never thought about acting

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

Britney Spears

9. Whom not? 

Justin Bieber

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We never experienced stage fright actually. We might be a bit nervous but frightened is a big word. 

The only tip we can give to beginners is just pretending that the audience is not there. Just focus on some point in front of you, in the air, or close your  eyes, do whatever you feel too but don't look at the audience when you're too scared. Pretend to be alone in your room, or under the shower, or in your rehearsal room, everywhere except the stage.

Eyes Set to Kill

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Well, nobody ever asked us crazy things so far.

13. What do you think of your fans? 

They're very supportive and they are giving us a lot of faith in ourselves, we will never thank them enough for what they do for us and the support they daily show.
