Interviews: Seraphic Eyes

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the Alternative Rock/Grunge/Punk  band Seraphic Eyes from Italy. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE. 

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

I was always been inspired by optimistic vision and when I start to think a name of a band, Seraphic Eyes arrived in my mind, it's the ambition to became so strong that no one fear could stop you and you became calm in any situation. It's not how we feel but what we whant to become. :)

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

In the 90s I was a metal fan: Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Ozzy, but when for the first time I listened Nirvana's Nevermind and then Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and the other Seattle bands I start to feel that music could be deeper and more honest, maybe sad, maybe depress but real, that music started to talk with my soul better then evrything before and so I started to think that I want to write music in a band.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, I started to search a drummer and someone for the bass guitar 'cause I wanted to play in a trio, and cause less you are more simple is organize! ;)

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Alberto: Nirvana

Laura: Arctic Monkey

Azza: Green Day

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I'm inspired by my life and others lives, I'm inspired by love, by my activism, by politics, by economic and social problems… I don't have a unique muse.

6. Where was your last gig?

It was an unplugged mini show with interview in a little pub in Mantova

7. Where would you like to perform?

In a big rock festival with a lot of other musician

8. Whom would you like to perform with?

Foo Fighters 'cause I think that they are a great rock band but made of amazing simple people

9. Whom not?

Justin Bieber!!! 

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes, all of us!! Our tips are, slow breathing that calm the heart, do your best and smile 'cause even the best sometimes do mistakes! I heard the Smashing Pumpkins Drummer lost the time some years ago!! ;)

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Nirvana, Smahing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Sound Garden, Rage Against The Machine, Bad Religion, Pennywise, Rise Against, R.E.M. and many others

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A girl after the last song of a gig started to scream: "I LOVE LAURA YOUR BASS PLAYER! I WANNA FUCK HER!!!" (Laura is my wife!) I was a little shockes so she continued: AND I WANT FUCK WITH YOU TOO" My first words was: "Thank you very much but... we are ok! Azza is single if you want!" And She replied: "Good drummer! See ya!" :D Sorry Azza! ;)

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love them all! It's amazing to write music and being listened in all the world!

14. What do you think of our site?

Simple and rich of info about many band! We like it!
