Behind The Artwork: Clumsy Words - Rumination (2018)

When it came to the artwork for Rumination, we didn't really have any actual ideas...just kind of a feeling. It needed to be sad and melancholy, to reflect the sad nature of the songs that accompanied it. It needed to be a cartoon drawing, but not goofy looking. We simply went to Laurence Crow (our artist) with the feeling of sadness and he captured it perfectly, while still paying tribute to the man in the drawing falling, being clumsy, like Clumsy Words.
