Interviews: For The Better

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metalcore  band For The Better from USA. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Before we had a band name we were a band. While recording some of our first demos, we listened back through the way they were mixed and didn’t really care for the sound. After re-recording them we all kind of looked at each other and said that it was “for the better” that we went back to fix them.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We all grew up listening to the same genres of music. Metalcore just came naturally.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes. We all attended the same high school.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Craig: A Day to Remember

Jake: Avenged Sevenfold

Adam: The Amity Affliction

Tom: Stick to Your Guns

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our songs are typically written based on an event or situation that may occur in our everyday lives.

6. Where was your last gig?

N/A

7. Where would you like to play?

Before the fall of Vans Warped Tour, that was always the one tour we wanted to be on.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Jermey McKinnon of A Day to Remember

9. Whom not?

Nobody comes to mind. We love all artists and genres.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

None of us really have yet.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

The Amity Affliction, I Prevail, We Came As Romans

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We get some pretty weird DM’s from time to time.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the footstep to our future.

14. What do you think of our site?

We think that it is a great way of discovering new artists and talent.
