Interviews: Rest In Peace

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Hardcore/Beatdown  band Rest In Peace from Chile. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The name of the band was born becouse at that time around 2013. our members died was close relatives. it was a sad fucking time.  

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

Becouse he has everything. the beatdown is a musical style that contains everything we like about the metal of hardcore of dethmetal. we are really passionate about beatdown.  

3. Did you know each other when the band was formed?

I am the vocalist i can tell you that we know all different with anibal "the guitarrist", are friends 15 years ago. with fernando (guitar) and gabriel (drums) we net forming this band project.  

4. Each member favourite band?

Gabriel: After the burial     

Anibal: Pantera     

Feña: Parkway drive     

Seba: Nasty 

5. What inspires you to write songs?

What inspires me to write our songs are our experiencies og life falls, voices life in general, teachings, family, friends, real lyrics with strong feelings.  

6. Where was your last gig?

November of last year.  

7. Where would you like to add?

South america & Europe, brazil argentina germany, England. the truth we touch on all sides where invite jajaja.  

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We haver featuring with 2 bands, one whit Knuckledust from england and with brawl between enemies from germany. you can watch trough our youtube channel.

9. Whom not?

With any band is not of our respect. we would never play in fascist or neo-nazis concert. fuck you nazi  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

You have to go on stage as you are, without colors or flag, the other is improvised based on what happens inside the show. smoke weed and the fear is dead. 

11. What bands have you inspired the most?

We were inspired by bands like Slayer, Suicidal tndencies, madball, nasty, reduction, cunhunt 777, sepultura, pentegram, confronto, criminal, brawl between enemies, knuckledust, words of concrete.  

12. What´s the weirdest thing a fan ever asked you for?

The truth is that our fans do no ask us anything, just perform a good show, we follow the policy of "kill your idols", we are just like them flesh & blood, there is nothing to prove.  

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the maximum, without them we wouls not be anything, we always share with them before, during and after the show. respect for them.  

14. What do you think of our site?

Is very good, go ahead, without places like yours would cost a little more the masification of bands. I learned something very good. In the underground you can find very high level bands that are unknown.
