Interviews: Wolves Don´t Sleep

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metalcore band Wolves Don´t Sleep from UK. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?   

From the phrase "wolves don't lose sleep over the opinions of sheep" which was the main mission statement when the band was formed to just do what we wanted to do and it sounds sick  

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Just a genre we're all really into and metalcore as a genre is a combination of metal and hardcore essentially gives us the ability to take any influence and just write what feels right  

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Steev and Connor went to school together and formed a band where they ended up playing with Chayce's old band, who also used to be in a band with both Dan's. So we are just a culmination of old Nottingham bands from our teens  

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Steev- Creeper 

Connor- lamb of god 

Chayce- Bullet for my valentine 

Dan- Asking Alexandria 

Bingley - Whitechapel  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

The bands we listen to and our life experiences, there's no actual pinpoint for this because we have so much to inspire us, the bands we listen to and see live inspire us to push ourselves and the lyrics come from a personal honest place   

6. Where was your last gig?  

The maze for the Bloodstock metal 2 the masses semi final.

7. Where would you like to play?  

Download festival is the ultimate goal for us  

8. Who would you like to support?  

Parkway Drive  

9. Who not?  

To be honest, at this point there's no one we wouldn't play with we just love playing shows  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We all do to different degrees and we each have our own pre-show rituals to help us. A lot of it is based on wanting to do the show justice and things going wrong out of our control. Steev likes to sit down and meditate to focus on the performance Connor and Bingley say deep breathing exercises help Chayce likes to chain smoke (cigarettes)  and a cheeky tinny never hurts   

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

EVERYTHING IN FUCKING METAL IF THEY HAVE BANGERS THEY INSPIRE US TO WRITE BANGERS TO THAT LEVEL OF BANGER.   

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Honestly, when people ask us to take pictures with them or sign stuff that in itself is weird cause we don't expect anyone to give that much of a fuck about us, it's awesome but we are not used to it. 

13. What do you think of your fans? 

Anyone who supports us we have nothing but love for Especially everyone who's onboard with the Wolves Hatecrew.   

14. What do you think of our site? 

It is pretty sick and amazing the amount of exposure you're giving bands, and the "core" "not core" sections are an awesome idea.  because of it Chayce now really likes nintendocore so if our new songs start having synths we are blaming you guys
