Interviews: Empyrean Design

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metalcore band Empyrean Design from USA. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

It was a name I(Shawn) had came up with an old band I was trying to make about 5 years ago. We never really did anything and I brought it up and everyone liked it. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

Always enjoyed metalcore and it just naturally developed itself.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Shawn was in a band with carlos before and played magic the gathering with caleb.

4. Each band member favourite band?

(Shawn)The Number Twelve Looks Like You, (Caleb) tool, (Carlos) Born of Osiris, (Shadoe) Dance Gavin Dance, (Chaz) Trivium.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

This most recent album was inspired by America and it's current state. We love the country but the album is what we feel is wrong with it. 

6. Where was your last gig? 

Houma, Louisiana at The Boxer and the Barrel

7. Where would you like to act?  

Anywhere. House of Blues would be cool or a big festival

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Craig Owens, The Weekend, Jessie J, Matt Heafy, or $uicideboy$. 

9. Whom not? 

Noone really. 

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Everyone does to a degree, Its all about developing ways to deal with it. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Shawn(The Number Twelve Looks Like You, The Chariot, Norma Jean, Botch, Every Time I Die, Underoath, Chiodos, Zao.) Caleb( tool, a7x, atreyu) Carlos(huge list, to many), Shadoe(DGD , as I lay dying , and killswitch engage), Chaz (RHCP. Avenged Sevenfold. Metallica).

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

A nonbroken drum stick
