Interviews: Verdad Sin Sombra

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metalcore band Verdad Sin Sombra from Argentina. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We saw it in a jehovah's witnesses pamphlet and we liked it LOL.  

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

At first, our compositions were a mix between Nü metal, post-hardcore and metalcore, each member of the band has their own taste, but we leaned towards metalcore because it was like the middle ground for us, something that we all liked.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Faa and Nico are friends since their childhood, and they played together in other projects. The rest of the members have met in different circumstances, but mainly in the gigs of our town.  

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Fabrizio: Memphis may fire, Underoath, Architects, As i lay Dying. Verdad sin sombra.

Nicolas: Emery y Jordan. 

Esteban: Northlane, while she sleeps, underoath, tdwp, architects.
 
Emanuel: Hatebreed 

Mauricio: August Burns Red  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Our experiences with God is what inspires us mainly, the things that we live and happens in our environment.  

6. Where was your last gig?   

Our last concert was in Urban Club, a very famous place here in our town, EVERY band here played there sometime.

7. Where would you like to act?

Any place is good to give our message and enjoy what we do

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Well it's kind of a dream haha, but we would love to feat with one of our favorite bands, like underoath, or architects, etc. 

9. Whom not?

We don't have problems to share the stage or feat with any band.   

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I think everyone suffers that in the beginning. In our personal experience, we don't suffer from it, but we do get pretty anxious before a gig haha. And if someone reading this suffers this, we think he just has to do it, and enjoy himself, go up and enjoy it as if he were the only one there with his instrument, and the fear will go away eventually.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We had many inspirations, but especially, one of the bands in our city called Inhumar Al Ego, they transmit their love, loyalty and commitment for God and the people in a very special way, and they encourages us not only has a band, but to be helpful to our neighbors.  

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Someone once asked us to play a song of La Renga (a big rock band here in Argentina) and another wanted a kiss haha but the fact is, there has to be fans first LoL. 

13. What do you think of your fans? 

We think that they are the best and that without them none of this could be done, and they are the reason of Verdad sin Sombra

14. What do you think of our site? 

We really like the site and the work you do, you are truly a help so that bands like us can transmit our message. Thank you!

We would just like say thank you for this interview and for being able to share a bit of our band. Remember, 21/07/18 we will be presenting the first part of our first album, which was mixed and mastered by Matias Takaya in AV Studio, he did an incredible work.
