Interviews: Green Death

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band Green Death from USA. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

It was a name on a list of names I came up with.  We thought that name was the best one.  

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

We wanted to play what we grew up with, Thash, Classic Metal, and a little Doom.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes, we were in a band called “Only” for ten years before Green Death was formed (Me, Erich, and Sparky).

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Too many to pick a favorite.  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Horror movies, news, books, really almost anything can inspire me to write.

6. Where was your last gig? 

In Iowa City at Gabe’s.

7. Where would you like to act? 

Not sure I understand this question.  

8. Whom would you like to feature with? Metallica, Megadeth.

9. Whom not? 

Any Nu-Metal band I guess.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Don’t really get stage fright, that usually is over by your first few shows.  You get used to it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Metallica, Megadeth, Carcass, Danzig.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

The cost of our last recording budget.

13. What do you think of your fans? 

I love our fans!

14. What do you think of our site? 

It’s great!

15. Something add? 

We will be releasing our new album “Hallowmass” on October 20th, 2018!  Come see us this Fall on Select Dates with David Ellefson for his BASSTORY Dates!
