Interviews: REINFECTION

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Brutal Death Metal/Death Metal/Goregrind/ Grindcore band REINFECTION  from Poland. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Everybody plans for the band’s name. Sometimes it comes quick and sometimes it doesn’t. Reinfection was formed 20 years ago. I don’t fuckin remember how the name came along. I probably found it digging through some gore articles or something.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

That’s the music we wanted to play. We didn’t care what anybody else had to say at that time. We chose our own path.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

The vocalist is my older brother. I met Misiek after the band was formed.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Everybody in the band listens to different stuff. Not sure what guys fancy right now.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Me personally, I have always wanted to be creative. Making music that you like is priceless. I gueass that is what inspires me. Not sure what floats the other guys boat.

6. Where was your last gig?

I think our last gig was the Soul Grinding Festival - Strasbourg, France in 2005. You can see it on youtube.

7. Where would you like to act?

In Die Hard 8 LOL

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

I don’t really know, but if you put your mind to something it might just become reality. Just saying.

9. Whom not?

Not sure.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yelling out load before you go on stage helps. I put my hands in hot water to loose the joints in my wrists so I can blast without getting tight muscles in my hands. That’s the Mlody-trick!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

There are a lot of bands that inspired us. Too many to mention.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Sign our record for somebody after he knocked out all his teeth during our concert because nobody cought him while jumping off the stage. I think that was in Slovakia.

13. What do you think of your fans?

That’s like me asking you: what do you think of all people that read your magazine????
