Interviews: Shattered

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Trash Metal/Metal/Hardcore band Shattered from USA. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

I and Tony Pettry were throwing name's around and we also wanted a one word name and the name SHATTERED stuck out.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

I have always like the sound of the guitar in this type of music because it stick's out to me, also I like all styles of music but metal is what I choose to play.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, I knew Shawn Connor prior to Shattered with a band called UNBROKKEN, and with other project's we were both doing, I also played with Tony Pettry in the mid 2000 we played in a band called Forgiving Silence. The two new member's of SHATTERED Fred, and Jonathan I did not know them until just recently.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Tony Pettry's is King Diamond I can't speak for Fred an Johnathon pretty sure Shawn Connor's would be Testament I think. For myself is several some of mine is Randy Rhode's Yinva mountstein, Steve Via and Al demeola.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

This first concert I went to when I was young I went with my mom I seen ZZ Top in 1976 and I said to my mom that's what I want to do for a living.

6. Where was your last gig?

My real last gig would be The Ritz in Ybor City, opening up for Nile and Overkill.

7. Where would you like to perform?

Sydney Austria, Time Square New York, Tokyo Japan an everywhere in Germany, also anywhere in South America.

8. Whom would you like to perform with?

Shine down, Five Fiver Death Punch, Avenge Seven Fold, Godsmack an Megadeth.

9. Whom not?

I would perform with anybody.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I haven't personally suffered from stage freight, anything I would tell beginners is believe in what you do an always be humble stay true to your dream's also.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I'm gonna say not band's but individual artist like Dime Bag Darrel, Randy Rhodes, and Motzart.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

The weirdest thing a fan have ever asked me for is my pants and a fan wanted to buy my guitar and he didn't know how to play.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Without my fan's I wouldn't be anything.

14. What do you think of our site?

What I have looked at some far I like.
