Interviews: Reapter

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Trash Metal/Progressive Metal band Reapter from Italy. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We thought about some names, most of them not very satisfying. Reapter came out using the words “Reaper” and “Richter”.     

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

I think a musician, a writer or a painter express himself not simply choosing a genre or a theme. Simply  he expresses himself doing what he feelss inside. The same reason is about us!     

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes. Max, Claudio and Emiliano did. Jury and Daniele joined the band afterwards.     

4. Each band member favourite band?  

We don’t have a favourite band, too many! But we take inspiration by them every day to improve our skills and listening.     

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

The most about every moment happened in our life, we like to talk about ordinary life stories, how people has to struggle and run against every day obstacles. We identify ourselves in this way, so we write down this feelings in music and lyirics,      

6. Where was your last gig?  

Pula, Croatia last June. Then we entered the studio to record our third album, and we’ re planning some tour dates for the upcoming 2019. So keep updated for great upcoming news!     

7. Where would you like to act?  

In every place where a stage can be assembled. Our life is on the stage!     8. Whom would you like to feature with?  We respect every artist in every aspect, we’ re happy to share the stage with every band out there.     

9. Whom not?  

As above!     

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Just before the gig there’ s always some emotional factors. But when the music starts everything goes away and the fun starts up! I suggest to think not so much about the performance, just  have fun and let people to have it!     

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

As I mentioned, there’ s not a band or group of bands. Way too long to list here!     

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nothing unusual so far, I just can say during the aftershow we get lots of compliments for our performance, someboy ask for a autograph and things like that. Proud to be part of this!     

13. What do you think of your fans?  

Crazy, couldn’ t find another word!
