Interviews: Better Days

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Pop Punk band Better Days from UK. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?   

From Blink-182’s song Adams Song!  

2.Why did you want to play this genre?   

Because it was such a fun genre to play along to, we found it to be a great outlet to everything but also a one we all connected to  

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

We all knew each other from being in local bands around the NE area     

4. Each band member favourite band?   

Graeme is a massive Blink fan, for Joe its green day, Zach i think was a MASSIVE 1D fan and Michael was into more classical jazz.   

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

I think the inspiration comes more from past experiences than people. Better Days whole mantra is that we want to show people that yeah life can suck but you can also find light at the end of any tunnel you come across.     

6. Where was your last gig?  

At riverside in newcastle! we played a pretty big christmas show which was suuuuper fun!  

7. Where would you like to act?   

Hollywood!   

8. Whom would you like to feature with?   

I mean, if it was up to me id have someone like Drake on one of our songs cause that would be cool as fuck. But on a serious note i think someone like Bonnie from Stand Atlantic would be doooope.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?   

I think if someone tells you they havent theyre lying. Just make sure you keep your cool and go onstage and show people that you love to do what you do, 9/10 people wont notice a mistake so just roll with what you got!   

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Again the likes of blink and green day are the most common answers but they are up there for us. But i think when we go to writing or performing we like to keep it our own because its pointless copying what someone else has done. Because it has already been done haha     

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?   

I think for me its either for my phone number or a kiss.. haha   

13. What do you think of your fans?   

Forever grateful for them all as theyre the reason we get to do what we do. I dont think theres a day gone past that we havent thank every single one of them for their support haha.   

14. What do you think of our site?  

That its dope and the fact you give a space for bands to be able to talk and show off their music is suuuuper important!
