Interviews: MAR DE RABIA

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Hardcore Punk band MAR DE RABIA from Venezuela. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

The name of the band came out after we did some songs for the first EP. It cam out like that because in Venezuela many people have rage.

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

We´ve been playing Hardcore Punk our entire life. But we listen to all kinds of music, so our music is a kind of mixture.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Si claro. Nos conocemos de la ciudad de Maracaibo. Troco y yo también hemos tocado en doña maldad desde hace muchos años. 

4. Each band member favourite band?

We don´t have favourite bands because we listen to many different bands and genres.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Everything that we´ve lived and seen in Venezuela. In the world. The relationship between countries. The global business. The disconnection and the ecocidies.

6. Where was your last gig?

Two years ago, before we leave the country.

7. Where would you like to act?

A tour around south america.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

With all our punk band friends.

9. Whom not?

With boot-licker people.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Si. Claro. Siempre. Jajaja. Solo toquen su rollo y disfrútenlo. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

A lot of bands, there is no band in particular.
