Behind The Artworks: Avem - Meridiem (2019)

Designed by Mario at Aegis Strife the artwork was chosen to show the multiple elements present in Avem and in Meridiem. It captures all of the elements that we explored in the album. Meridiem is heavy on nature, oceans, sun, sky and space and Mario layered these elements into the artwork throughout the album. The time connotations of Meridiem are captured on the front cover with the clock and the protagonist’s hold on it and it is not a coincidence that we wrote 12 songs for the album, one for each hour that ticks away. We intentionally went for lighter colours over darker and the transition that you feel in the songs on the album continues through the lyrics shown in the booklet.
