Interviews About Albums: BANSHEE - Bubble (2019)

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

This EP is upbeat and has you hooked from start to finish. This is a fresh and more popier sound for us but is definitely the best material we have produced.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

There is no specific meaning behind the EP. We just took a different approach to our writing after discussing doing something different and we are all very happy with the finished product.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

There is not a main composer. Gav usually comes up with the basis of a tune. Then Gia and Liam will work their magic along with Gav whilst Erin sits in the background and begins her writing as the tune develops. Then somehow after lots of chopping and changing, we have a new song.

4. If you have to pick one song, which one would you pick?

I'd personally pick Frenemies. Even though Bubble is the title track, Frenemies to me is very catchy and energetic from start to finish. Definitely a track for some kind of action movie lol. (hint hint Warner Bros).

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD?If there is what it is?

There are no special messages I'm afraid to say. This is pure Banshee being creative and trying something new which seems to be really working for us.

6. Are there some lyrics that you´d love to share?

There are no lyrics I'd personally like to share. I think in every song they all have a hook at some point whether it is a verse or chorus. Maybe Erin has a meaning behind some of them that she hasn't shared with us.

7. Which inspirations haven been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thanks specially?

There has not been a specific person or inspiration that has been important in writing this EP. As mentioned earlier, we took a new and creative approach to our writing which resulted in producing these 4 driven songs.

8. Something to add?

Listen and enjoy...and after that, repeat the process.
