Interviews: End Of Silence

In this new occassion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band End Of Silence from the Switzerland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their  FACEBOOK PAGE

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We were just looking for a name, that discribed our music in a short way. So the name, is what our music will get you. Heavy tunes and a definitly end, of the silence around you.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Oh, that's an easy question. For us, it's the most honest and powerfull way, to spread the feelings and scream the messages out loud. You'll be heard, no matter if someone likes your music or not.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Thom and I (Andy), are the formers of the band, and we knew us since we get to school. Dan was the perfect replacement for our Guitarist, who runned into other projects and he's part of the Band since 6 years now I think. Mathias was always a good friend to us, and joined the band in 2017.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Thom: Arch Enemy
Dan: Caliban (and also many Rock Bands like Status Quo, etc)
Mathias: Jinjer
Andy: Architects (for shure, it's not easy to make a choice, in a world with that much good bands)

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

That's really individually. Sometimes it's written cause of feelings and emotions and sometimes happenings in our lifes are writing the songs by themselves.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in Beringen, in a cool location and many of good bands, friends and fans.

7. Where would you like to act?

We'd love, to play more shows at open airs and more shows outside of Switzerland. First steps are done, cause we will tour through russia in september, and we are so excited for this.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

I think, this list would be too long, so in an easy way to tell, it would be a great experience, to see our name on a line up bill with our favorite bands. 9. Whom not? Mainstream Popstars... (haha)

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

For shure, your heart is always running wild before the shows, but that's exactly why we love doin' Live-Shows. It's the best feeling and it's that one, that makes you feel alive. A good tip for beginners, is to meet early in the bandroom, at the day of the show and do an easy warm up and playing 2-3 songs, just to get into the mood. Another good tip is, knowing that it's not forbidden to do little faults on stage. People who are joining your shows, are tolerant and happy, when they hear, that it's real Live music. Attention, we're talking about little faults, so don't fuck up the whole set.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We are writting songs the way we like it. It's never inspired by other bands. For shure, every member is influenced by his favorite bands, so there's always a good mix of many genres, that finally makes the unique sound of End Of Silence

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A Fan was asking Andy for his used towel after an EP Release Show. But common, nobody wants a sweaty, smelling towel at home.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Just because of the support of our fans, we are able to do this whole thing. We are proud, that we can move something in the heads and minds of so many people around the world, with our music. So it's the right moment to say, Thank You ALL for sharing our dreams.

14. What do you think of our site?

We are very thankfull, that there are plattforms like "Breathing The Core", cause it helps a lot, to spread the music and reaching more people around the world. So, good job guys and thank you for having us.

15. Something add?

A big thank you goes out to:

Carlo, Wormholedeath, Wormholedeath USA, Wormholedeath Japan, Stencil Magazin, Christian, Wahoomi, the RealSound Studio, the B.V.M Management, Naomi, Alina, Natasa, all the online Magazins and Stores who are writting about us, all the Radios who are playing our songs and all the fans, families and friends, who are part of this trip.
