Interviews: VEXED

In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Deathcore/Progressive Metalcore/Djent band VEXED from the UK. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Megan likes reading old classic books. And it’s a word that appears a lot when characters are really pissed off and angry. It suited how we felt at the time.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

There’s no particular reason, it just what comes out when we’re writing.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes.

4. Each band member favorite band?

Jay: Periphery

Willem: Emmure
Megan: King 810
Callan: Thy Art is Murder

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Hate.

6. Where was your last gig?

Vexed is debuting at The Black Heart in Camden London on June 28th.

7. Where would you like to act?

We’d like to travel across Europe. And hopefully one day Australia.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We’ve already had the great opportunity to work with CJ McMahon but if we could choose another artist it would have to be either Frankie Palmeri or David Gun.

9. Whom not?

Haha… There’s a few, but we’ll keep those to ourselves.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We all get nervous but none of us have had stage fright. Just put your headphones on and listen to music that gets you pumped. As soon as you’re one song in you’ll forget all about it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Any band who don’t give a fuck about what anyone else thinks of them and stays true to themselves is an inspiration to us.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I don’t think we’ve been asked for anything weird… yet. Our fans are really cool and respectful. They’re like family to us.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are like family.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s dope.

15. Something add?

Go follow us on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. There’s more stuff happening you’ll want to keep an eye out for.
