Interviews: CIELO DRIVE

In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Alternative Rock band Cielo Drive from the UK. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We took a while deciding on the new name, we wanted something a bit more subtle than Scout Killers (our previous name). Cielo Drive sounds nice on the surface, translates roughly as 'heavenly' or 'sky' drive, there are much more sinister tones attached to it though 

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It's a genre that sorta just evolved really, our earliest efforts weren't like this at all. Over time we've kinda just shape-shifted into this genre 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Not really! 

4. Each band member favorite band? 

Beau: guns n roses

Chris: motley crude

Julien: Rob Zombie

Scott: Pearl Jam 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Anything most often starts as a chord or riff structure from beau or Julien

6. Where was your last gig?

Chesterfield

7. Where would you like to act?

Big festival circuits

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Anyone that will have us!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I think we've all had nerves on stage, you kinda just have to get it done! 

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Depends on who you ask! It's more amusing coming off stage and people in the audience telling us who they think we're inspired by!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I don't think we've had any weird requested to be honest, not that we can remember anyway!

13. What do you think of your fans?

They keep us going! Our lifeblood if you like

It's pretty sweet
