In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hardcore band Materia Muerta from Spain. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band's name, planned it, or got it out?

The band's name actually originated before the band's name began.Nacho, the vocalist dreamed of singing one day in a hardcore group, and one day walking down the street he came up with the name, the day the band was formed and the recent members wondered what name to use, the vocalist suggested "Materia Muerta" , initially the name was rejected, but one hour Nacho insisted again and finally accepted himself by saying one of the members, "Well, if there is no other name better because we stayed with that," hahahaha .

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

The 4 components of the band are attracted to the genre, to some to a greater extent than others, some like hardcore more, others plus punk, others plus metal and although in the final sound the common denominator is hardcore , you can also appreciate notorious influences of metal and also of punk.

Yes, three of the band members, the vocalist, drummer and guitarist, are from Ribadeo, a village of Galicia, among them three were already known but more than going out at night or from some festivals, on the other hand the bassist is from Burela, a Galician village near Ribadeo and only é é I and the vocalist knew each other from several years ago.
