Behind The Artworks: Woodhawk - Violent Nature (2019)

The idea behind the art was this beautiful tree that appears fine on the surface, but is being ripped away from its core and stability underneath. It was to kind of show the juxtaposition of how we can put on a smile and act normal, but we’re not always ok deep down inside. There’s the element of self-destruction and all the things you love and know crumble around you and all the while out of your control. 

We as people are the most violent and dangerous thing on the planet.
