Interviews: SYR DARIA


In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the  Heavy Metal/Thrash Metal band SYR DARIA from France. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

The name of the group was chosen as a symbol, a river, a border between the East and the West, a millennial witness of the madness of men and yet imperturbable, the idea pleased us well. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre? 

I think, probably we are not able to play another genre ;-)

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we know each other before the band was formed because we were friends.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Christophe (drummer): iron maiden, Stratovarius

Pascal (bass): suicidal tendencies

Michel (guitar): Iron Maiden

Thomas (guitar): Metallica

Guillaume (singer): Iced Earth 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Stephen King, dailies laps of time, or even contemporary SF literature 

6. Where was your last gig?

In Colmar, east of France, guest of Freedom Call, it was the presentation of our new album, good time

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere if conditions of production are good.

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

Bruce Dickinson

9. Whom not?

Justin Bieber

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Just before the show , stage fright is possible sometimes, but when the show started, with adrenaline everything going well, we worked very hard To prepare our show, that's also à good method to avoid stage fright.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Probably Iron Maiden... 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Weirdest? I don't know, funniest is maybe When a girl asked us to sign on boobs

13. What do you think of your fans?

Simply say: without fans support de are nothing.

14. What do you think of our site?

Nice, interesting to introduce many bands and their genre.
