Behind The Artworks: Mind´s Cove - Drift (2019)

MATTEO (vocals): Our album cover art was made by Ludovico Lo Cascio, a comics artist, and illustrator from Palermo. Being a cartoonist and illustrator too, I knew what I wanted for the project's artwork, but at the same time I was aware my drawing style wouldn't be the right one to turn it into reality, so I contacted Ludovico and gave him a rough layout of the cover he could start with. The ocean depicted in the artwork is a representation of human mind: you can look toward the surface and notice a figure peacefully floating, like in a state of serenity, but dive down and you'll find the brain cells that contain our thoughts, feelings, sensations, and memories, dwelling in mind's.
