Interviews: Dogtablet

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Electro/Goth band Dogtablet from the UK. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

To understand that you would need to have been living in the UK in the 80’s and own a dog.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

This is where we feel at home. Making the music we grew up with the technology available to us today.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

I met Roberto when he was playing with The Cure as a sub for Simon Gallop during the Wish world tour. I met Jared when I joined Pigface in around 97 4. Each band member favourite band? Me - Magazine Roberto - Wire

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Each new day and maybe a new piece of kit 6. Where was your last gig? House Of Blues, Chicago 7. Where would you like to act? Movies

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Nicholas Cage maybe?

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I’ve never feared getting on stage

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Magazine, Bauhaus, Bowie, Muse, Jane’s Addiction

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

On tour with Test Dept in LA I was asked if I’d dye a fan’s hair outside the tour bus.

13. What do you think of your fans?

It’s amazing to have people appreciate your music. For this I am truly grateful 

14. What do you think of our site?

It has some cool features. Particularly like the use of sub-genres. Maybe you’ll have to find one to squeeze us into.
