Behind The Artworks: Architectural Genocide - CORDYCEPTIC ANTHROPOMORPH (2020)

I want to take a minute to thank Jon Zig for bringing the Cordyceptic Anthropomorph to life. I have been a fan of his both artistically and musically since I was 15 years old. Zig has such strong ties to the death metal scene and has brought some of the most gruesome concepts to life, so it was a no brainer to have him involved. He could not have made the experience easier on us. We simply sent him the lyrics to the title track and gave him complete artistic freedom to create something that would later blow our minds out the back of our skulls. The art features the host bursting from the seams with tentacles trailing in every direction. Some of the tentacles ripping people apart. Others are draining people of their lives. It’s a gorgeous display of unforgiving onslaught! If you’re trying to get some nasty art created for your next release, I highly recommend working with Jon Zig.
