Interviews: Lost Legacy

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the  Power Metal band Lost Legacy from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Dave Franco: I had lost touch with some musician friends I used to play within a previous band. Then one day I got us all together to form a band and called it Lost Legacy.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

David Franco: The feeling of expressing myself through music that moves me and inspires me.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

David Franco: in some cases, we knew each other from other projects we had crossed paths before. Neighbors etc.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

David: Halloween

Jorge: Testament

Scott: Dixie Dregs

AJ: Iron Maiden

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

David: This album was inspired by my desire to honor the men and women of our armed forces that give and sacrifice everything and are often forgotten. We do not glorify war but stand behind our soldiers.

6. Where was your last gig?

Jorge: Dingbatz in New Jersey this past January 10th.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would like to play at big festivals in the US and Europe.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Testament, Halloween, Ed Guy, Symphony X

9. Whom not?

Well, the easy answer to that is with bands that are not in our genre. We like to be on stage and share bills with great bands. That inspires us.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?

Jorge: Yes. At times we’ve done shows where the sound engineer does not give us stage monitors and I had a couple of shows in which I could only hear myself and the snare drum and kick. It’s somewhat unnerving.

11. Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Practice, practice, practice that’s the only way you get through these situations. You have to trust yourself and your bandmates. A well-rehearsed band works wonders on live shows!

12. What bands have inspired you the most?

Dave: Iron Maiden, Halloween, Fates Warning, Ed Guy

Jorge: most of my inspiration comes from Hard Rock bands Dokken, Lynch Mob, Van Halen but I love Testament, Megadeth and Symphony X

13. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Dave: A fan wanted to touch my hair. Lol

Jorge: weird I don’t think so. Mostly guitar picks, pose for a photo.

14. What do you think of your fans?

Dave: Think about it. I’ve had friends that have supported this band since 1998 when we were starting and had no notion of what the future would hold for us. They are still supporting us to this day. We love them, they rock!

Jorge: Fans are the reason we do this. Personally, for me, it’s my way of giving something that will help them get through their days.

15. What do you think of our site?

I like that you focus on providing fans with good information related to the bands you feature. I like the New Bands and Band Roster feature in your website to help fans find new bands and new music.

16. Something add?

Dave: Lost Legacy hails from Bronx NY. We come from humble beginnings and we make it a point to give 100% every time we hit the stage to give our fans and new friends we meet great entertainment.

Jorge: I’ve been doing music for thirty plus years. This band has all the elements necessary to be successful. We live to play. We love to play loud powerful music that moves us and our fans. Check out our new album “in the name of Freedom” via Pure Steel Records to be released on 3-20-20
