Behind The Artworks: Pile Of Priests - Pile Of Priests (2020)

The album artwork was beautifully brought to life by Mark W. Richards of Heavy Hand Illustration. Before reaching out to Mark, I closely reviewed his portfolio and knew he would create something jaw-dropping for us. He uses a vast array of vibrant colors in his work that really makes the art pop and has the detailed line work like a surgeon to convey a dream-like reality in each of his pieces. The idea I gave Mark for the artwork was as if you were looking into an old gothic style church that no one had entered for a long time, and everyone went inside to seek final salvation before dying in their sanctuary. And bam, he came back with exactly that but with way more brilliant imagination than I could have ever fathomed.
