Behind The Tracks: Blackcast - The American Dream (Single) (2020)

The story behind our single is one of personal experience and also other related true stories. It goes through the challenges one faces when coming to the USA, not only that but also the mental state of an immigrant when coming to the USA. One of our lines is "this isn't the American Dream that I hoped for but its the American Dream that I'll die for" a lot of people immigrating to the USA come because of the freedom and opportunity this great country can offer but when they finally get here they realize there is even more trials and tribulations that must be faced. With that being said they are willing to face it, even dying for it the freedom this great country is known for. We want to tell a story but also send a message an raise awareness that immigrants face when trying to come here.
