Interviews: Beekeeper

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal band Beekeeper from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We are taking the world by swarm!

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Our love for Thrash and Death metal, it's only natural for us to want to play this type of music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes. Dylan and Ally worked at the same place and went to high school together and shared a music class. Dylan and Wally are family friends and had formed their band Fermentor prior to Beekeeper.

4. Each band member favorite band?

So many I can't choose just one but here are 3 King Diamond/ Metcyful Fate, Death, Judas Priest

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Real life events, dreams, inside jokes, and common interests.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played a local show at Casbah for our buddies Deep Sea Thunder Beast album release show.

7. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to share the stage one day with our favorite bands. King Diamond, Morbid Angel...

8. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes. Once you get up there and the set begins go for it. Don't hold back in your performance don't even acknowledge if you make mistakes. You're there on stage to give it your all and perform what you love and stand behind. Make it count for all to see.

9. What bands have inspired you the most?

Slayer, Sepultura, Kind Diamond, Judas Priest, Death, Necrophagist, Morbid Angel, Iron Maiden

10. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Ally: A fan once went up to me after a show and told me he chipped his tooth while moshing during our set and he asked if I wanted to feel it. And of course I did. It was awesome.

11. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are the best, they inspire us to work hard. They keep the metal community alive and well.

12. What do you think of our site?

Kickass. Thank you for having us for this interview.

13. Something add?

Check out our debut album Slaves To The Nothing. We hope you enjoyed this interview and our music video for Vargas. Watch out for our upcoming album to be released this year!
