Behind The Artworks: Balcony Talk - Calendar Daze (2020)

The artwork for Calendar Daze has an interesting story behind it. Before Calendar Daze was written, my best friend Michael’s mom had a clown statue in the living room and one day i looked at it and thought it would look really good for an album cover. Months went by without giving it any thought. Calendar Daze was nearly complete and I noticed it again. With the meaning of the EP established, the clown added a great touch. I decided to put it in the calendar to remind ourselves that even the ones who seem the happiest can be sad inside. With just a little reminder of how lucky we are to be here, we can lift ourselves back up.
